What happens during my first appointment?
Your first visit sets the foundation for your personalized care plan. If you’re seeking therapy, the appointment typically includes a Biopsychosocial (BPS) assessment to understand your mental health history, challenges, and goals. For medication management, the session includes a psychiatric evaluation to assess symptoms and determine treatment options. Your provider will listen to your concerns, answer questions, and collaborate with you to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
