Mindful Care Stands with Highland Park

Free Support Groups for those affected

Mindful Care would like to send its deepest condolences to the community of Highland Park and to all those affected by the senseless tragedy that took place on July 4th. The entire Mindful family is saddened that many of our peers, friends, colleagues, and patients are enduring unimaginable pain during this tough time.

Many of our employees and patients reside in or have a connection to the community of Highland Park, and they would give anything to ensure their family’s safety. Mental health inevitably becomes a topic after these tragedies, and we are all too often reminded of the deep mental health issues and trauma that we face as a country and a community.

Although we do not need any more reminders, events such as these confirm Mindful Care’s commitment to improving access to mental healthcare and bringing more support to our communities.

Every individual heals and copes differently and Mindful wants to be there to support you and your loved ones. While we do not have the perfect answer for everyone, we do want to offer our services to the Highland Park community and its peers by lending a helping hand.

Mindful Care will be offering free support groups led by our team of licensed Illinois therapists for all those affected by this July 4th tragedy. If you or a loved one needs a place to cope, grieve with others, share your thoughts, discuss your feelings, or learn tools to deal with these heavy emotions, please join us.

We stand with the community of Highland Park and all those dealing with this traumatic event.
