In her practice, Angela believes that truly being present and forming a team approach with patients is one of the most important parts of patient care. "Working together with patients towards their goals allows my skills to become another tool they can use to navigate their lives."
What is the most inspiring part of your career?
When a patient tells me that we made a positive impact on their life.
Why did you choose to specialize/work in mental healthcare?
Mental health always drew me in for as long as I can remember. It is enormously gratifying to be able to work with a patient as a team, and watch patient make enormous positive change in their lives.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love to travel and explore the world with my family. I am hoping to do a safari in Africa, and a cruise to Antarctica sometime in the near future. When not traveling, I love doing all things outdoors; horseback riding, swimming, hiking and anything else that gets me outside.
