Charles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Mindful Care. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Social Work from New York University.
In his practice, Charles believes the most important part of patient care is "being attentive to focusing on the harder issues people sometimes have a hard time expressing. I'm empathic and experienced with assisting people to find solutions to feel better and think in more productive and healthy ways."
What is the most inspiring part of your career?
Being a part of someone's life, in assisting them with their finding solutions and happiness. Being there during their hardest, darkest times as well as their gains and achievements.
Why did you choose to specialize/work in mental healthcare?
I've always loved playing team sports, ice hockey especially. The best feeling was always collaborating and helping others shine. I've incorporated that into my work in mental health. A teamwork approach, helping others shine!
What are your interests outside of work?
My biggest interest outside of work is taking care of my two dogs, rooting for my sports teams, and biking.
