About Rebecca

Rebecca Heller MHC-LP, NCC, CCTP is a therapist and Coordinator of Mental Health Services at Mindful Care. She has a Bachelor of Art in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master of Art in Mental Health Counseling. She is also a National Certified Counselor.

In her practice, she believes the most important part of your patient care is being patient, non-judgemental, and throwing in some humor.

What is the most inspiring part of your career?

Watching a team of healthcare professionals working together for one purpose...to give the best care possible to their patients.

Why did you choose to specialize/work in mental healthcare?

With a strong support system, anyone can get through anything. As a Mental Health Counselor, I am not only a part of the individual's support system, I am also providing them with a safe space to share their thoughts/feelings without any judgment.

What are your interests outside of work?

Baking, cooking, and hanging with those closest to me.

What’s the last book you read?

Reading is definitely a goal of mine! However, I started reading, Buy Yourself the F*king Lillies by Tara Schuster, and have been on page 20 for the past 2 months. Highly recommend!

In case of a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your local ER.
